Marrakech → Tizi n’Tichka → Aït Benhaddou → Dades Valley
Depart Marrakech early morning climbing through ancient cedar forests and hair-pin bends of the High Atlas. Stop for panoramic views at Tizi n’Tichka before descending to the clay kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. Continue past Skoura palm groves into the dramatic red limestone formations of Dades Valley.
Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Erfoud → Merzouga Dunes
Morning walk between the soaring 300-metre limestone walls of Todra Gorge. Pass through the palm oases of Tinghir and the fossil town of Erfoud. In late afternoon, arrive at the golden threshold of Erg Chebbi, mount your dromedaries, and trek into the sunset to reach your private luxury bivouac.
Merzouga Sunrise → Draa Valley → Ouarzazate → Marrakech
Rise early to witness the sun illuminate the razor crests of the sand sea. After a hearty breakfast, begin the scenic return via the acacia plains of Alnif and the ancient date-palm corridor of the Draa Valley, crossing back over the High Atlas to Marrakech by early evening.
